‘Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also
will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me’
[John
12: 26]
In recent years, the former ‘Anglican’ structures here at All Saints
have been adapted. Being part of a Partnership, the Ecumenical
Church Council (ECC) has a significant role to play in shaping and
directing the vision and impetus of the five church fellowships.
At a local level each fellowship has its own system of governance,
often influenced by church tradition. At All Saints, a Leadership
Team has replaced the local church committee and is responsible for
the spiritual oversight of the fellowship and for ratifying major
decisions. It meets bi-monthly and addresses key issues of the day.
However, the essential daily running of church life has been
delegated to six Ministry Teams who meet as and when required and
faithfully supervise the following areas:
Social Fellowship Activities along with Communications and Publicity
are also part of the Ministry Team structure.
Currently 40 members of the fellowship serve on these teams and have
the delegated responsibility of prayerfully managing these essential
fellowship commitments.
An Annual Report and Statement of Finances are produced for the
Annual Church Meeting, normally held in March of each year,
following a morning service.
